sterilization

just wonted to ask has anyone been sterilized. i got sterilized 10 years ago and my tubes were cut and i often regret getting this done because my ex went on to have other kids with new gf yet my partner who hasnt any kids will never be a dad. I was just woundering has anyone had it done and do you know if it can be reversed. im 36 and time is pushing if i wonted to see if there are any ways of ever getting pregnant again. IVF is out of the question as i couldnt afford it and i would never expect the NHS to pay as it was my choice when i got sterilized and IVF should be there to help families that cant or have no kids at all.

My aunt had a reversal but to be honest technologies change all the time and some people have their tubes tied or cauterised not cut and not sure how much difference it makes
