Getting my little one to sleep?

Post by TinHanse » Tue Jan 28, 2014 11:53 am

Hi, does any parent have any tips about the easiest method to get their infant to sleep through?

I have read many websites with suggestions but I am still struggling.

Best wishes

Hi , I am a mother to a 6 month old son and I got my son to sleep through at 3 months he now sleeps 7.30 pm to 9 am . Babies must have a routine, he gets bathed at 7.15 to 7.30 and then bed time with his baby monitor on playing nursery rhymes. When we first did this we dream fed him at 11pm , so feed him during his sleep which is easy if bottle feeding. If you stick to this routine you will notice in a matter of weeks he gets tired and ready for bed at the said time. If he is fed, nappy clean then you need to shut the door, he will cry it out. I now a, the luckiest parent ever, my boy is awake most of day bar a hour nap at 2 and he sleeps a good 14 hours without waking up. Hope this helps
