Fundraising Day Ideas!

Postby rufio89 » Tue Sep 28, 2010 11:16 am

Hi All,

I'm just looking for some ideas really.

Basically, where I work they give you one "free" day off to do something for charity.

It's coming to the end of the year and I still havent done anything. I know what charity I want to give the money to, but I dont have any ideas of what I could do as my event.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you

The first thing that springs into my mind is a sponsored walk/run/swim/cycle... you get the picture. That's nothing vaguely original though, I don't know if you're looking for a novel idea?

... or can you make something to sell e.g. cakes, jewellery?

or dress up day.

I like the selling cake idea; maybe go to a carboot sale or a church fayre or something with a bunch of cakes and see what you get?
A hug is a great gift, one size fits all.
