Re: What do you sleep in?
I can't sleep naked even if I'm warm enough, I find it really uncomfortable!

Re: What do you sleep in?
Me too! I've had boyfriends who wanted me to do that, just because they preferred it, but I find the feeling of skin on skin much less comfortable than clothes. And it's impossible to get the duvet to adequately cover your shoulders, so you feel cold there.

Agreed. Skin on skin gets clammy
Re: What do you sleep in?
I run really hot, and I just get to hot in clothes. I am a massive fidget too and clothes just get rucked up. So much easier for me to be naked.
I like cuddling up in bed, think I'd find it odd to sleep with someone in pyjamas.

Re: What do you sleep in?
I like sleeping naked when my boyfriend is there as I feel closer to him when I do. And in the summer as well.
But in the winter I just tend to wear one of his jumpers....although I've just bought a pair of jammies as was SO cold last night!

Re: What do you sleep in?
A lot of my friends think its weird that I don't like to sleep naked too. Mr Rufio often sleeps in pyjamas though so its not just me. Although he seems to be happy enough sleeping in anything. I love cuddling up in pyjamas, it feels so cosy!

Re: What do you sleep in?
We had this discussion at work not so long ago and I was awfully surprised to discover I am in the minor few that wears pyjamas to bed. Everyone else seems to sleep naked lol.

Re: What do you sleep in?
I sleep naked but as I get really bad cold feet I often have to put socks on. If my hands are freezing too I stick them between my thighs until they warm up.
I often have to take the socks off in the middle of the night once warmed up.
However Rufio your experience does seem extreme and is worth checking.
The good thing with the electric blanket is you can set them to turn off after a while so you can get to sleep and then not be woken in the middle of the night because you warm up. Highland cows blanket is totally useless of course
- Are you supposed to put them in the tumble dryer or was that a mistake?

Re: What do you sleep in?
The other point with sleeping naked is that it can be inconvenient in other ways - I house share with a man (not my boyfriend) and I definitely couldn't go to the toilet in the middle of the night naked!

I don't go to the bathroom naked, normally wrap myself in something.

I know....typical, right before this cold snap! In my defence it said, you could wash it at 40, so I did but clearly you shouldn't tumble dry them.Bel Bel wrote:Highland cows blanket is totally useless of course - Are you supposed to put them in the tumble dryer or was that a mistake?

It must have tripped the circuits or something....

I get up naked to go to the loo, as I tend to warm up quite quickly.

Re: What do you sleep in?
Me and Mr Highlandcow bought something amazing this weekend.....a double electric blanket. Here are some of it's features...it has dual control on both sides, perfect for us as he gets a lot warmer than me, so my side stays hot whilst his cools down! It also has a timer so you can have it hot for 2 hours (say) and then it will cool down to warm for the remaining time you're in bed. Plus it's really snuggly too.
Honestly we bought it on Saturday and I had the best night's sleep I ever. My boyfriend said his phone rang at 1am last night and one of his friends was drunkenly singing down it.....and I slept on regardless, so in satisfied with my new purchase was I.
I'm so pleased with it, I might go to bed now!

You might say that.
Still...don't try this at home.
