Excited!

Post by Skarlet » Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:35 pm

Just wanted to share that I have my new tattoo booked for the 8th April and I am really really excited! I have been waiting since september (when I booked it, and its now earlier due to swapping days with another girl). I am in for a whole world of pain but it is gonna look fab!

:D

(edited due to too many uses of the word excited)

Are we allowed to see a preview of the design you've chosen? :D

This sounds a little crazy, but there isn't a specific design I have chosen. It is a custom piece and although I told the artist what I want I have no idea what the final art is going to look like. lol.

The guy that is going to do it has his work shown here, its going to be a skull with roses backpiece. http://www.nineboycesstreet.com/james/

I don't personally like tatoos, but there's absolutely no denying it, that is some exceptionally impressive art work.

Wow, those are beautiful.

I'm really pleased for you, Skarlet; it'll give you something nice to focus on.

Yeh it has, I have done a few extra things to keep myself busy, I am now a Citysocialising host which means I am committed to running social events and meeting new people.

Hopefully things are going to come together a bit more now.

Only a few days until your tattoo, Skarlet!

How long will it take on the day? I thought they could only be done for X amount of hours, then they have to stop.

It's as long as you can sit for. So I am booked in between 12-6, and will probably be tattooed for around 5 hours of that or so.

Oo blimey, Skarlet! I've had semi-permanent tattoos, with local anesthetic cream, and it was still hard to bear. Don't be afraid to say if you've had enough and demand a break.

Yeh, I am hoping to sit well. I have had 3 hours of work done, but it was a much smaller area.
