There has recently been an upcropping of familiarity in posts, that the moderating team finds unacceptable, as they potentially can cause future problems.
Please DO NOT do any of the following:
* Refer to conversations that you have had with members outside of problem pages
* Use a member's first name (as opposed to their online alias)
* Post problems that involve members on this site
The last one is relatively difficult to get around, especially when you have been inviting your friends and family to join the site...which we think is great! But we're sure that you can see where the problems can arise when those people you are posting about are able to view your problems with them. Things can turn pretty ugly when people are reading threads about themselves, and can end up doing more harm than good. It can also make giving advice feel awkward for other members, and jeopardise your anonymity.
Above all, however, we are thinking of you. There have been times in the past where members have gotten themselves into near physical danger because of posts that were made on here regarding other members.
The main idea is this: What happens in Problem Pages, stays in Problem Pages. If you want to get to know members better by talking to them on MSN, meeting up with them, or texting them...that's fine. But please keep that life seperate from the one that you maintain on this site.
If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me, or anyone from the moderating team.
