Tell him to avoid the left and right and just kick in the centre - it hurts more

rockets were placed up bottoms and the survery was done yesterday. My seller goes on holiday next thursday for 2 weeks but is going to be available all holiday so we can exchange and hopefully move the day after he comes home.
Bless him, he is taking all his contacts for removals, redirection of post etc with him on holiday.
Looks like an August move IF all goes well

Well it all fell through again. The guy at the bottom of the chain pulled out of buying the house below me in the chain.
He was a landlord and had already knocked off £5k and was trying to knock a further £17K off the house claiming an asbestos problem.
This is the second time he has lost a buyer so I told my buyer he can no longer buy my house until he has a buyer in place who has completed a survey and puts in writing to me that they are happy with the survey results, assuming I haven't sold it to someone else by then.
My man I am buying off is happy to wait for me as I sold my house so quickly last time it fell through.
So it's back on the market again (which took 3 days due to an office idiot not ticking a box :x )

I feel your pain (to some extent anyway!).. buying/selling a home is so stressful and frustrating.

Blimey, Bel, you're really going through hell with this :o

I wouldn't tell your solicitor your opinion of his profession until it's all sorted though
