Hey, I know we've never spoken before and I'm pretty new to this but I read your post and knew I had to reply.
It struck a cord with me because there was a point where I thought that things were never going to get better.
At the start of 2009, I was made homeless, I then lost my job and through all that stuff I couldn't cope with uni anymore. It seemed like every single thing was crumbling.
But, I'm happy to say that everything got better. I decided I wasn't going to let everything slip away, I went out, finally found a new job, got a flat and made new friends! My friends weren't exactly the best, they didn't appreciate me either and they were never there for me when I needed them. I joined a club (body combat, I would recommend it!) and met some really nice people. It seems like a very small change, joining a club I mean, but it really can change your outlook on life and you can meet some really awesome people.
