Literature Review help

Hi Guys,

I have started my degree in events management however we have been told to do a literature review on anything to do with our subject (events) im confused i dont have the faintest idea on what to do a literature review on that has a critical analysis i could do it against and that has enough literature on for me to research please help me xxxx

For my course a literature review was getting some information and basically writing a summary of a bigger project; however the information you used was all taken directly from books/net etc...so long as you referenced it. Not like a normal project where you'd reference their idea and expand on it; you can reference their exact words etc.
